Terms of Service

1. The service

SiteNow builds, hosts and maintains a website for your business. The site is produced from publicly available information about your business and from material you provide, and it is published either on a free subdomain (yourname.sites.usesitenow.com) or on your own domain.

You can update the content yourself — by messaging our WhatsApp number or from the owner panel. Changes are published automatically, usually within a minute.

2. Free trial and subscription

The subscription starts with a 30-day free trial. Payment details are collected at the start of the trial, but the first charge is only made when the trial ends. You can cancel during the trial at no cost.

The price is €29 per month (VAT 0%). Finnish VAT (currently 25.5%) is added to the price. The subscription renews automatically for one month at a time until cancelled.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Invoices are available at any time from the billing portal.

3. Publishing and your domain

When the trial starts, your site is published on a free SiteNow subdomain, so you can use it immediately.

One domain is included in the subscription. We can register a .fi domain on your behalf, or you can connect a domain you already own. A domain registered on your behalf is registered in your name; you may transfer it to another provider when the subscription ends. Domain availability is not guaranteed — if your preferred name is taken, we will agree on an alternative.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, by yourself, from the billing portal — there is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. The site stays online until the end of the paid period, after which it is taken offline and the domain routing is removed.

Fees already paid for a started billing period are not refunded, apart from mandatory legal grounds.

You can request a copy of your content at any time, including after cancellation, while your data is still stored (see the Privacy Policy).

5. Your responsibilities

• The information you publish (prices, opening hours, menu, offers) must be accurate and lawful.
• You must have the right to the material you send us (photos, logo, texts).
• The site may not be used for unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Keep access to the phone number and email connected to your account secure — anyone who can use them can edit your site.

6. Our responsibilities and rights

We provide the service with professional care and aim for continuous availability, but the service is provided "as is" and no separate availability guarantee (SLA) is included in the Starter plan. Maintenance work is scheduled outside busy hours whenever possible.

We may suspend a site if payment is more than 14 days late, or immediately if the content is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.

The templates, designs, software and platform remain our property. The content you produce (texts, images, menu) remains yours; you grant us the right to use it for producing and publishing your site.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is sold to businesses, so consumer protection rules do not apply. Our total liability for any damage is limited to the fees paid for the service during the 12 months preceding the event.

We are not liable for indirect damages, such as lost profit, lost sales or loss of data caused by a third-party service (for example an outage at the hosting or payment provider).

8. Changes

We may change these terms and prices by giving at least 30 days' notice by email. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel the subscription before it takes effect.

9. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are resolved in the District Court of Helsinki. We always aim to resolve matters first by discussing them — write to us at hello@usesitenow.com.
